Hyundai Lease Options in Tallahassee | Werner Hyundai

June 1st, 2026 by

Leasing a new Hyundai can be an attractive option for Tallahassee drivers in 2026 who want access to the latest technology, advanced safety features, and the predictability of a fixed monthly payment. Whether leasing is the right move depends on your driving habits and financial goals, and our team at Werner Hyundai is here to walk you through both leasing and financing so you can make the choice that fits your situation.

How a Hyundai Lease Works

The fundamental difference between leasing and financing comes down to what you are paying for. When you finance a vehicle with a traditional auto loan, your payments are based on the full negotiated price of the vehicle. When you lease, you are paying for the vehicle’s depreciation over the term of your contract, most commonly 36 months, plus interest and fees.

For Tallahassee drivers who want a new Hyundai every few years, this structure can mean a lower monthly payment compared to financing the same vehicle, freeing up budget for other priorities. Lease incentives offered through Hyundai Motor Finance may further reduce costs, depending on the model, region, and current offers.

Warranty Coverage Throughout Your Lease

One key benefit of leasing a new Hyundai is that the vehicle remains under Hyundai’s factory warranty for the entire lease term. Per Hyundai, America’s Best Warranty includes:

  • 5-Year / 60,000-Mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty (bumper-to-bumper)
  • 10-Year / 100,000-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty (for the original owner)
  • 7-Year / Unlimited-Mileage Anti-Perforation Warranty
  • 5-Year / Unlimited-Mileage 24-Hour Roadside Assistance
  • 10-Year / 100,000-Mile Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Warranty (for the original owner, including the high-voltage battery pack and related power electronics)

A standard 36-month lease falls well within every coverage window. If a covered mechanical issue arises during your lease, you are protected from unexpected repair costs.

Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance

Per Hyundai, new Hyundai vehicles purchased or leased on or after February 1, 2020, include Hyundai Complimentary Maintenance (HCM) for the original owner, and a lessee is considered the original owner for the duration of the lease term.

HCM covers oil and oil filter changes (except for electric vehicles and fuel-cell electric vehicles), tire rotations, and multi-point inspections at normal factory-scheduled maintenance intervals for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

For 2025- and 2026-model-year vehicles, the program includes 4 basic maintenance services that must be used within the first 3 years or 36,000 miles. Services must be performed at an authorized Hyundai dealer, and any additional services or parts outside the program are excluded. More frequent maintenance due to severe driving conditions is also excluded.

Staying Current with Hyundai Technology

For drivers who want to experience the latest Hyundai innovations on a regular cycle, leasing offers a path to step into a new model at the end of your term. The Hyundai lineup includes the Tucson, Elantra, Santa Fe, Palisade, Kona, Venue, Sonata, IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and the all-new IONIQ 9 with features like dual 12.3-inch panoramic displays on many models and the Hyundai SmartSense suite of driver-assistance features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Smart Cruise Control on select trims.

By the time your lease term concludes, you can return the keys and explore the latest model lineup, or work with our team to purchase your leased vehicle at the contract’s residual value.
