Hyundai Bluelink® and Bluelink+ keep Tallahassee drivers connected this summer with features such as Remote Start with Climate Control, vehicle diagnostics, and connected safety services, all accessible from your smartphone via the MyHyundai with Bluelink app.

Beat the Heat with Remote Start and Climate Control

One of the most-used Bluelink® features is Remote Start with Climate Control, which lets you remotely start your engine and activate your climate control system through the MyHyundai with Bluelink app.

Imagine spending the afternoon at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park or attending a downtown summer event. Instead of returning to a hot cabin, you can open the app a few minutes before you head back to your vehicle, set your preferred cabin temperature, and step into a more comfortable interior. On compatible models, you can also activate features such as the rear defroster and heated side mirrors, and customize Climate Start Presets for the Summer and Winter months.

Note that Remote Start with Climate Control is part of the Bluelink Remote Package, which is included in your complimentary trial on Bluelink-equipped vehicles. After the trial, the Remote Package is available for $99/year or $9.90/month. On 2023 IONIQ 6 and all 2024 and newer Hyundai models, these features are part of Bluelink+, which is included at no additional cost for the original owner.

Vehicle Diagnostics and Maintenance

Bluelink® provides direct communication between your vehicle’s onboard systems and your MyHyundai with Bluelink app. As the weather warms, this can help you stay on top of routine maintenance items.

• Monthly Vehicle Health Report: Bluelink® automatically generates a Monthly Vehicle Health Report, delivered to your registered email. This is part of the Connected Care Package, which is included in your complimentary trial on Bluelink-equipped vehicles.
• On-Demand Diagnostics: If a warning light appears on your dashboard while driving down Thomasville Road, you can run a vehicle diagnostic check through the app or your vehicle’s touchscreen.
• Service Scheduling: If the system detects that routine maintenance is due, you can schedule an appointment by pressing the Service Link button on the rearview mirror — the details will be sent to your preferred Hyundai dealer.

Connected Safety and Security

Summer is a popular time for road trips to the Gulf Coast. Bluelink® includes connected safety features that can provide added peace of mind on the road.

Automatic Collision Notification (ACN) is part of the Connected Care Package. If your airbags deploy, the system can automatically contact a Bluelink response agent who can request emergency assistance. SOS Emergency Assistance is also part of Connected Care — pressing the SOS button on your rearview mirror connects you with a trained operator who can coordinate emergency services.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) is another Bluelink feature. Per Hyundai, if your vehicle is stolen, you must first file a police report. You can then contact Bluelink at 855-2-Bluelink (855-225-8354), and a live operator will work with law enforcement to help locate your vehicle. Two related features of Stolen Vehicle Slowdown and Vehicle Immobilization may be exercised by law enforcement to gradually reduce engine power or shut off the engine after the vehicle has been stopped. Note that Bluelink Services features are unavailable during active Stolen Vehicle Recovery.
