Hyundai Military & First Responders Programs in Tallahassee | Werner Hyundai

At Werner Hyundai, we are proud to support the military service members and first responders who serve our community. Hyundai offers two programs designed to recognize its service with a bonus toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai vehicle. Here is what eligible Tallahassee customers should know about the Hyundai Military Program and the Hyundai First Responders Program.

The Hyundai Military Program

Per Hyundai, eligible customers receive a $500 bonus toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai vehicle. The 2026 program period runs from January 7, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

Who is eligible:

• The customer (or spouse) must be Active Duty, Reservist/National Guard, Veteran, or on Retired status in the U.S. Military at the commencement of the program period
• Active, Veteran, or Retired U.S. Military is defined as customers serving or having served in the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, or Reserves

How verification works: Per Hyundai, eligibility is verified through ID.me, the company’s verification partner. The verification process typically takes a few minutes for customers who have their required documentation ready.

How the bonus is applied:

• On lease contracts, the rebate must be applied toward the Amount Due at Lease Signing or toward the Capitalized Cost Reduction
• On finance contracts, the rebate must be applied toward the Down Payment
• The bonus is applied toward MSRP and is not available as cash

Eligible vehicles: All new Hyundai models, including the electrified lineup, SUVs, and sedans, are eligible for the Military Program bonus.

The Hyundai First Responders Program

Per Hyundai, eligible first responders also receive a $500 bonus toward the purchase or lease of a new Hyundai vehicle. The 2026 program period runs from January 7, 2026 through December 31, 2026.

Who is eligible:

Per Hyundai, the program is open to active:

• Police Officers
• Sheriffs and Sheriff Deputies
• Correctional Officers
• State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers
• Firefighters (paid or volunteer)
• EMTs and Paramedics
• 911 Dispatchers
• Spouses of First Responders

Verification: Eligible customers must provide verifiable proof of active service as a First Responder at the time of purchase or lease.

How the bonus is applied: Same structure as the Military Program, applied toward the Amount Due at Lease Signing or Capitalized Cost Reduction on a lease, or toward the Down Payment on a finance contract. The bonus is applied toward MSRP and is not available as cash.

Important Program Restrictions

Per Hyundai, the following restrictions apply to both programs:

• The Military Program and the First Responders Program cannot be combined with each other
• Not combinable with the Hyundai Circle plan
• Not available on fleet vehicles, service car rentals, or demo vehicles
• Vehicle must be taken out of dealer stock
• Must pay sales tax
• The customer must receive credit approval and execute a finance or lease contract through a participating Hyundai dealer
• Not all applicants will qualify
