The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is Ready to Go

November 25th, 2020 by

This year, the Hyundai Elantra has undergone a complete redesign. While some things are the same, such as the great value offered by this vehicle, there are also many exciting changes. Here is a quick rundown of what to expect from the 2021 Hyundai Elantra here in Tallahassee.

Powertrain Options

For the vast majority of the lineup, a 2.0L inline-four-cylinder engine sits underneath the hood of the Elantra. This allows this vehicle to generate 147 horsepower along with 132 pound-feet of torque. The new Elantra N-Line makes its debut in 2021. It gets its own turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder that will make 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. This engine can be paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. There is also the Elantra Hybrid, which uses a 1.6L four-cylinder and an electric motor to make 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque for driving around Thomasville GA.

Trim Levels

The base model of the 2021 Elantra is called the SE, and it is an impressive introduction to the line. Its eight-inch touchscreen runs wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, making it easy to connect your compatible smartphone and hit the road. The SEL trim level gives you more to love, such as automatic climate control and a hands-free smart trunk release. For the luxury-oriented Limited trim, the Elantra gains leather upholstery and LED headlights.

On top of the more powerful engine, the N-Line model gets things like a sport-tuned suspension and a rear spoiler. It also has its own grille design as well as larger wheels than the rest of the line. Paddle shifters and black headliners help to carry the sporty theme of the N-Line into the cabin as well.
